FAQ
The shared-care questions, answered plainly.
These are the questions we get asked most during beta. Open any one of them for the answer — and if yours isn't here, just email us.
How many people can look after the same pet?
Each pet has one primary caregiver (whoever created the record) and any number of co-caregivers (people who accept an invite). Couples, flatmates and family looking after the same cat or dog is the shape we designed for — not one person with a shelf of pets.
We deliberately keep the bar to invite people low: everyone in the household who should be on the record can be. The exact cap and how long an invite stays valid are still being settled and will be stated before the official release. One person can be part of several pets, and rights are granted per pet — being the primary caregiver for the cat gives you nothing on the dog.

No. The profile, care records, ledger, album, memos and digital assets belong to the pet itself (one PET ID). They do not travel with anybody's account. Leaving ends your access, not the record.
Here is exactly what happens when you leave or are removed:
- your private access, editing, pet-identity posting and use of the pet's assets stop immediately, and future reminders are no longer sent to you;
- old share links and old notifications stop working too — they will no longer open private content;
- the records, photos, posts and purchased assets you added stay with the pet, with the necessary attribution kept;
- digital assets you bought are not taken away with you — the other caregivers keep using them; orders and refunds are handled separately, per payer and per order.
In one line: the person leaves, the record stays. That is the main thing that separates this from an ordinary tracker — the data belongs to the pet, not to somebody's phone.

The record is still there. You sign in with a personal account; the record hangs off a pet identity. The two are tracked separately, so signing in again on a new device shows you the same content. Sign-in methods and multi-platform details are still being finalised and will follow the official release notes.
It works the same when care is handed over: whoever takes over sees one record and one history — no pile of screenshots and chat logs to transfer.

No — unless you publish it yourself. Visibility has three levels, set per item, minimum visibility by default:
- Only me: private memos, health notes you haven't finished;
- Caregivers: profile, ledger, album, to-dos (this is the default);
- Public: community posts, the pet card, bonds — only what you actively publish.
Medical records, parasite treatment and clinical history stay caregiver-only by default. Making the pet's profile public does not expose the medical file, microchip number, contact details, shared ledger or private album. Scanning a pet card, following as a fan or forming a bond never becomes caregiving rights.

The core care tools are free forever: profile, records, smart reminders, shared ledger, shared memos, shared album and multi-caregiver collaboration all cost nothing. Not paying will never limit your ability to record your own pet.
No leaderboards, no gacha, no random drops, and no forced tasks that punish you for skipping a day. The only ads are rewarded ads you choose to open — declining one blocks nothing.
The paid digital assets on the phase-two roadmap (high-fidelity digital companion, custom merchandise) are still being planned and no prices or entitlements are set. When they are, we will say so here and in the product — we won't ship first and explain later.
Sources: GLOBAL-001 product boundaries · REQ-024 paid assets · OPEN-029 free quota and pricingWill the AI diagnose my pet?
No, and we don't promise it. Health features give reference notes only: no definitive diagnosis, no prescriptions, no medication plans. Uploaded photos are visual reference, not a basis for diagnosis.
Every piece of AI-generated content (anthropomorphic messages, behaviour recognition, stories, images) is labelled as entertainment only. If your pet seems unwell, take them to a veterinary clinic.
Sources: REQ-004 health self-check · BR-AI-003 / BR-AI-007When can I use the "digital companion"?
It is still being planned and nothing is built. Phase one only covers a basic version: a digital identity for this pet, built from real photos and used for anniversaries, looking back and sharing. The high-fidelity phase-two version is likewise still being planned, with no release date.
Wherever it lands, it is a digital identity asset for the pet — not a standalone mini-game, and never a replacement for the care tools. We will not use it as a hook to push you into paying before it exists.

You can switch on memorial mode: all reminders stop, every record is kept in full, and the pages go quiet. No pop-ups, no upselling, and no marketing built on it — "view forever" will never sit behind a paywall.
You can ask for deletion at any time. How memorial mode is confirmed, whether it can be reversed, and what a paid full-archive download covers are still being decided.
Sources: REQ-022 memorial mode · BR-MEM-002 / BR-MEM-003 · OPEN-032Where are my photos and health data stored?
Health records and sensitive attachments are stored encrypted. Collaborative changes keep a record of who changed what, and when.
Once access is revoked, old links and old sessions stop working immediately and can no longer reach private content. Whether AI conversations and images are stored, for how long and how to delete them will be listed item by item in the Privacy Policy (currently Chinese only), together with a one-tap delete entry.
Sources: GLOBAL-002 PRIVACY-002 · OPEN-010 · OPEN-012Is the official app available now? Can I try it first?
The official release is still being prepared, so there is no installable build yet. To get a feel for it, head to Get started and scan into the WeChat mini program — it covers sharing and lightweight viewing, while the full feature set lives in the app.
Leave your email and we will send one notification when the official release ships; it is used for nothing else. You can also check the download page for the channels and their current status. Note that the mini program and the app are mainland-China first.
